Lantern Night

How it changes

• By day the sky stays a warm dusk, with the moon already up and the lanterns glowing.
• The moon's halo takes your pet's mood colour: rose on a sad day, gold on an ecstatic one.
• A sad pet sends up only a few lanterns, slowly. A happy one fills the sky.

How it behaves

• A lantern release at dusk: a big harvest moon hangs over an old town across the river, and if you look closely, the moon rabbit is busy at work on its face.
• Paper sky lanterns rise from the ground at three depths, and the nearest ones float up beside your pet.
• Your pet sits at the edge of still water. The moon's reflection shimmers on it, broken up, with a little glow under every lantern.
• With Reduce Motion on, the lanterns hold still at full glow.

How to apply it

Buy it in the Store tab and say yes when the app asks if you want to apply it, or apply it later from the Items tab.

It shares the weather slot with the other world effects, so only one can be applied at a time. Applying another replaces the current one.
