Starfall

How it changes

• By day there's no sun: a big comet hangs in its place, and its tail sheds little stars onto the hills. The more you move, the higher it climbs.
• The stars pile up on the hilltops in your pet's mood colours, so the piles keep a record of the day.
• At night meteors fall and the piles glow. On a sad day only a few slow wishes come down under a rose mist, and an ecstatic pet catches a gold wish on its hat.
• Close your Move ring and the piled stars lift off to draw your pet's own constellation, which stays up until midnight.

How it behaves

• Starfall gives your pet a storybook sky of its own: four rolling hills fading into the distance, a starlit violet dusk by day and a deep night sky after dark.
• As your Move ring fills, a comet's tail scatters stars that drift down and pile up along the hills, either side of your pet.
• Past halfway, a sleepy mountain rises far off on the right, its cap made of glowing stars. Tap it and it wakes up for a moment.
• Close the ring and the stars lift off the hills to draw your pet's constellation. Every species has its own.
• With Reduce Motion on, everything holds still.

How to apply it

Buy it in the Store tab and say yes when the app asks if you want to apply it, or apply it later from the Items tab.

It shares the weather slot with the other world effects, so only one can be applied at a time. Applying another replaces the current one.
