Your pet can wear a hat now. Ten of them, in fact, and every one does something different when you tap it.

A hat for every day

Seven of the hats each belong to a day of the week. Sunday is the Sun Hat, Monday the Beret, Tuesday the Baseball Cap, Wednesday the Helmet, Thursday the Bucket Hat, Friday the Party Hat and Saturday the Wizard Hat.

Three more are wildcards with no home day: the Top Hat, the Cowboy Hat and the Nightcap. Wear one whenever the mood strikes.

Every tap is a little show

Tap the hat and something happens. Tap it again and something else might. Here's what's hiding in each one:

• Beret: a swirl of leaves. On a lucky tap it spins off like a frisbee, swoops side to side and lands right back home.
• Baseball Cap: balloons drift up into the sky. Sometimes the cap flips over and pours out a whole bunch at once.
• Helmet: a rainbow shimmer across the sky, with a boing-boing double bounce when it's showing off.
• Bucket Hat: bubbles float by. Now and then it turns upside down and tips out a bubbly waterfall.
• Party Hat: a disco ball lights up overhead. Catch it right and the hat spins up and becomes the disco ball.
• Wizard Hat: fireworks! It tips forward like a pointing wand to cast them, and a soft magic glow follows your pet all day.
• Sun Hat: a burst of sunshine, and your pet glows a little brighter. Sometimes the hat floats up and turns into the sun.
• Top Hat: confetti out of thin air. The hat hops like a magician's, and ta-da!
• Cowboy Hat: a trail of sparkling stars, and a twirl like a lasso when it's feeling fancy.
• Nightcap: the cap tips over and a sleepy drop falls from the pompom, rippling away. Shh.

Those bigger moments are hat tricks. They turn up now and then as you tap, so keep tapping and see how many you can catch in a day.

Dress for the day, fill the week

Put your pet in today's matching hat and your Stylish Streak grows by a day. The Weekly Outfit card has a slot for each day from Sunday to Saturday, and wearing the day's hat fills it in. Fill all seven and your pet gets a bonus of growth. If you miss a day, a wildcard can stand in once a week to keep the streak going.

Every hat also comes in its own set of colours, and recolouring is free.
